Updated! Our COVID plan going forward

Dear food friends,

We’re slowly relaunching in-person tours!

Look for Agri-tours, Town + Terroir, self-guided bike tours, and virtual experiences that highlight a circular food economy in the near future.

More tours will be added as we navigate the changes with our partner businesses. The tour stops and days of the week may change due as we reopen. Please write lynn (@)tastedetours.ca to arrange a customised tour!

What we are doing

Although we are running limited tours at this time, we are still fulfilling our purpose — to tell the stories of the people and the places through food and drink.
We’re doing this in a few ways:

1. Check our Instagram and Facebook channels and stories for all the ways you can support Wellington County’s independent food businesses and food & drink growers and makers at this crucial time.
2. Sign-up for our newsletter for updates on how we will move forward in the future.
3. You can also expect lots of fun and useful content to keep you going while we all #StayHome. Consider our Little Bites: Taste from Isolation cookbook that began as a Covid project and has evolved into an actual hard copy book. Digital downloads are always free for you, and help keep our Wellington County food people top of mind.

What you can do

YOU can become part of the solution too. Please send an email to [email protected] or DM us on social media (@tastedetours on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) with any local businesses you are aware of that need our support. If you share how they are coping we can add them to our feeds and posts. We want our small businesses to stay.
